What kind of tiles and wall color would go with white cabinets, silver hardware, and stainless steel appliances?

Q.  My husband and I have recently brought a house. We cannot decide on our kitchen. We have white cabinets with silver hardware. We are purchasing stainless steel appliances. We cannot decide on what kind of ceramic tile and wall color to go with. Please help?

A. With all of the stainless steel, you might want to choose a warm color for your flooring. You will also want to consider choosing a darker grout. Customers tend to want to use white grout and often later find that it is sometimes very difficult to keep clean. Also, remember that ceramic tile can sometimes be stressful on your legs if you are in the kitchen for extended periods. Ceramic tile also will stay cold to the touch. Another alternative available to consumers today is Duraceramic. You can find this product at your local flooring retailers. Duraceramic can be used with or without grout and should stay warmer to the touch than ceramic tile. Please contact Tuckey Restoration or info@tuckey.com to find out more.
