Interior Design Q&A: Wall Colors for Burgundy Carpet

Question.

I have a very open house with burgundy carpet throughout. I would like to start some painting but I really don’t know what colors (for the walls) would look good with the burgundy carpet. I need an answer quick! If you have any suggestions, ideas, etc. I would definitely appreciate them. Thanks!

Some color options you may want to consider could be warm cream colors, gold or mustard colors and darker green colors. Green and red are complimentary colors and choosing the right shade of each will leave you a beautiful color scheme. Make sure to get samples and hold them against your carpeting.
