Through award-winning, visionary concept development and a highly-skilled team of craftspeople, Tuckey Restoration, Inc. has become a well-known champion of historic restoration and preservation throughout the region. During the past decade, the company has been instrumental in realizing and enhancing the potential of dozens of distinctive historical buildings in Carlisle and many of the surrounding south central Pennsylvania communities.

Having completed the rescue and renovation of a number of notable properties, Tuckey Restoration always strives to preserve the architectural integrity and historic relevance of the surrounding downtown landscape, while working in support of and in conjunction with local revitalization efforts. Some of our most notable historic restoration projects, as diverse as they are memorable, include the 150-year-old Centenary building in Carlisle, a former 19th century church severely damaged by fire, the renowned Molly Pitcher Hotel in Carlisle, the infamous Iroquois Hotel in New Cumberland, the stately Pennsylvania Republican Committee headquarters on historic State Street in Harrisburg, and, most recently, the Towne Centre Apartment and Retail project in Newville, PA.

Fostering a resounding commitment to revitalization and preservation efforts that are geared toward sustainable economic growth for the region, Tuckey Restoration’s historic preservation efforts have not gone without notice. We’ve been honored with the prestigious Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence, as well as an Historic Preservation Award from Preservation Pennsylvania for the Centenary building in Carlisle. Further, the company was recognized by the State of Pennsylvania and given a citation for "Impeccable Workmanship" for the cleaning, restoration and preservation efforts on the rotunda of the historical state capitol building in Harrisburg by the Pennsylvania Capital Preservation Committee.
