Maybe your home isn't quite this earthy - but you can still go for an earthy theme with the right color, hardware, and accessory selections!

Q.

I have Cherry Spice cabinets with almond leather counter and earthy color ceramic floor. What paint color should I look for? The other colors in the rooms are like sage green and soft colors. I want people to feel very welcome but at the same time look very catchy.

A.

It seems like most of the colors in your home are variations of earth tones; therefore, you may want to stay with this palette for the kitchen. You mentioned that the flooring was an earthy color and ceramic – what colors are in the flooring? You might try to pull a color from the flooring. You might look through color swatches in the terra cotta color family or perhaps nutmeg or burnt red colors. Be sure to hold them against the sage and other colors that might be visible from the kitchen to be sure they complement each other. Do not hesitate to contact us for a free consultation. Good luck!
