Is it difficult to install tile on a concrete patio?

Question.

I have a screen patio with 3 sliding doors going to this patio. The patio now has cement. I want to put tile on top of the ugly cement. Is this easy to do by myself? Help. (-First time homeowner)

Answer.

If you enjoy do-it-yourself projects, you may enjoy installing tile on your concrete patio. Common mistakes that are made include laying the tile on an uneven surface and not removing all of the grout from on top of the tiles before it dries. When choosing your tile and grout, you may want to buy a darker grout color for easier maintenance. They do offer grout that is sealed to prevent it from getting as dirty, but we would still suggest a darker grout. For more information contact Tuckey Restoration at 717-249-7052 or info@tuckey.com.
